Chez Denise - La Tour de Montlhéry

The enormous rib steak — portions are legendarily generous
♦
“A raucous, old-school Les Halles institution serving massive French classics until 5am.”
Why we love it
Chez Denise is a living fossil of old Les Halles — the market may be gone, but this bistro still serves as if feeding a crowd of night-shift workers. The portions are comically large (the entrecôte hangs off the plate), the atmosphere is wonderfully chaotic, and it stays open until dawn. Not subtle, not modern, absolutely essential.
