The côte de bœuf cooked in the open fireplace
♦
“A fireplace-grilled meat temple hidden in the Marais — utterly timeless.”
Why we love it
In a neighborhood that changes constantly, Robert et Louise has remained gloriously unchanged. The côte de bœuf is grilled over the open fire in the dining room, the portions are enormous, and the atmosphere feels like a country farmhouse somehow transplanted to the 3rd arrondissement. The prix fixe is excellent value for the Marais.
